In Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley rests the charming hamlet of Lexington, home to Washington & Lee University and the Virginia Military Institute. On those bordered grounds three groups of men came together in the mid to late 1860s, uniting during the Nation’s most difficult time. Alpha Tau Omega, Kappa Alpha Order and Sigma Nu—three of the most respected and successful fraternities—form The Lexington Triad. Even today, the Triad’s shared history and spirit remains a special relationship.
